Looking for somewhere to stay in London? You might fancy trying the St Giles Hotel. I’ve never stayed so can’t testament to how good it is, but the building itself is iconic for those who are fans of Brutalist architecture.
The building consists of four large cantilevered towers with windows arranged in a sawtooth (or zig-zag) arrangement, allowing for optimal daylight and great views from most rooms.
We happened to stumble upon the hotel while visit the British Museum, which is right around the corner. The hotel is surrounded by other Brutalist architecture so the area is definitely worth a visit.
